STORY TIME
In the Spring of 2020 when I opened my shop I started taking customs as well. My friends were kind enough to be my first supporters and one of them asked right away for a moon.
At first I was a little skeptical, most moon sun catchers I had seen online at that point were a circle of white glass framed with a lead border. It didn’t feel like the most exciting project to work on… so I told my friend that if she was ready to wait a bit until I figured out a way to make cool moons that would be an original concept of mine, I would gladly make her my first one ever.
She graciously agreed and I quickly found the idea that would forever change my business: hand painting an abstract moon texture, inspired by watercolor illustrations I had fallen in love with.
If you ask anyone who knows my work which piece sums me up, most of them will probably say those moons. I made several hundred of them in 5 years, expanding the concept and my universe a little bit more each year. Only there’s a catch: I make them with a very magical, distinctive glass which is unfortunately discontinued. I bought a large amount of it when I could find it in local stores still and use it exclusively for moons.
But once I’m out and unable to find more of it, that’s probably it. No more moons.
This is why each one is not only unique, because I hand paint every single one of them individually, but because they are limited editions. One day, I will have made all the moons and there never will be more. Not like that at least.
So order yours while you can!

Handle with care, glass is fragile!
Border contains lead, it is best to always wash your hands after handling your piece. Lead is only dangerous when ingested, so don’t lick it and you’ll be fine 😘
